Collect a nasopharyngeal swab using the M6 transport media (conical tube with pink liquid and red cap) and FLOQ swab. Select the nostril exhibiting the most visible drainage, or the nostril that is most congested if drainage is not visible. Insert the swab until resistance is met, rotate several times against the nasal wall before removal, place the swab into the M6 media, break swab off at marked spot and recap tube tightly.
